Vision for the Future
On January 13, 2009 the Minnesota Leadership Council on Aging, the Vital Aging Network and the Minnesota Board on Aging came together to provide a joint Aging Policy Summit. The Policy Summit had nearly 300 participants from around the State and was held at the Wilder Center in St. Paul, Minnesota.
The objectives of the January 2009 Policy Summit included:

Exploring how Minnesota can affirmatively respond to the coming demographic age wave of senior citizens as the baby boomers began to retire

Audience participation sought to help shape legislative proposals for the 2009 session
