Listening to Leaders

    Living the Questions

"Live the questions now.
Perhaps then, someday far in the future,
you will gradually,
without even noticing it, live your way into the answer."
R.. Marie Rilke

The MN Leadership Council on Aging, through the work of the Metropolitan Area Agency on Aging, met with more than 200 people from a dozen community sectors to test their awareness of the demographic, social and economic implications of the aging of the baby boom generation, and gathered their thoughts about participating in planning for the aging of Minnesota through a total community approach.  The overwhelming response to the sessions was positive.

Information about the Listening to Leaders project is provided through the links below.  The main points of the discussions are arranged in question format.  This was done intentionally to reflect the spirit of the dialogue.  The Listening to Leaders dialogues sought to identify the issues for each sector that need to be addressed to prepare for an aging Minnesota.  We hope that through the Living the Questions as Minnesota Ages initiative we will begin to answer these questions collectively.
