Each year, Minnesota Leadership Council on Aging hosts a dynamic annual gathering of statewide leaders in the field of aging. This year, with the added strength of our co-conveners, the need for our virtual Summit has never been more needed or more bold!

Given everything that the aging sector has been through – and is still going through – we’ve called leaders in the field to a two-part strategic foresight workshop. Together, we start a process in 2022 to co-design a shared agenda for aging in Minnesota - including the possibility of collective policy solutions for the 2023 Legislative Session!

Exclusive Co-Conveners

Age-Friendly Minnesota is a statewide Council working to improve the lives of all older Minnesotans by advancing policies, structures, services and coordinating work across state agencies, local governments, communities, and the private sector.

Minnesota Board on Aging works to ensure that older Minnesotans and their families are effectively served by state and local policies and programs, so they can age well and live well. The MBA does this through its three major roles: administrator, advisor and advocate.

Reflecting On Our Past

Together, we looked back on the past 50 years to understand the patterns, policies and chance that got us to this point. Review our shared timeline and key drivers in the Resource Library now.

Understanding Our Present

Through an exchange of diverse vantage points, we engaged in an analysis of today's emergent challenges and opportunities. Review the summary of participant comments in the Resource Library now.

Co-Designing Our Future

Next, drawing on a clear picture of foresight and strengths, we'll examine likely scenarios and envision a shared future for Minnesota. Review emerging issues now. A password has been sent to attendees.

Building a Shared Agenda

Summit sessions begin a collective process that will unfold in 2022 to see our desired future achieved - including the possibility for a joint 2023 legislative AGEnda.
