A VIRTUAL WORKSHOP
June 13, 2023
10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
It’s time to say yes to your personal growth.
Making the personal and organizational commitment to grow in equity and inclusion-based understanding requires intentional engagement with a wide variety of learning opportunities. This interactive workshop is one such opportunity to take essential concepts surrounding meaningful community engagement and help you turn them into improved policy, practice, and procedure for your work in the aging sector.
Designed for leaders across the aging services sector, participants will gain an introduction to the community engagement practices proven to build trust, shared decision-making, and equitable power sharing in mutually beneficial partnerships. With a grounding in Community-Based Participatory Action Research (CBPAR) principles, participants will engage in co-learning to effectively apply approaches proven to improve your work and strengthen partnerships.
Help us champion diverse, equitable, and inclusive communities in which to age!
