Background

Finish Strong grew out of Rajean Moone’s 2010 national Health and Aging Policy Fellowship project, funded by The Atlantic Philanthropies and Greater Twin Cities United Way. Originally dubbed the “Aging Funders Network,” the name changed to Finish Strong to mirror the Start Early Funders Coalition. In 2019, Finish Strong affiliated with the Minnesota Leadership Council on Aging.
